This week I was having fun with some paper-piecing! A while back I did some pattern testing for Sew-Ichigo patterns. These sweet & simple "Kitchen Classics" are a wonderful collaborative collection of patterns by Kerry & Penny and can be purchased individually or as a set from their Craftsy Shop. I helped with editing the pattern before it was released but I hadn't actually found the time to sew some up until now. Why did I wait?!
These blocks were surprisingly quick and easy to make. The Enamel Coffee Pot & Vintage Label being the simplest, the Tea Kettle having slightly more pieces but still being very easy to assemble, and the more challenging KitchenAid which was lots of fun to make.
I would definitely recommend these sweet little blocks to anyone. Basic paper-piecing links can be found on their blog as well as free project tutorials so that you can turn your cute blocks into something even more fabulous.
Like all good patterns, these fun blocks can be made with any fabrics and still look great! The choices are endless and I have already chosen fabrics for some more Coffee Pots and Tea Kettles!
