Owl Ornaments!

I'm currently working on a new owl ornament pattern requested by Kay who has made over 100 of my bird ornaments, and wanted another simple animal or bird ornament pattern to give as gifts.

It's tough to come up with something new when it has already been done so many different ways. I think I've made an owl that is my style... I was thinking about calling it "Owl on a Stick" but it will probably end up just being called "Owl Ornament". What do you think of my owl?

One morning, I collected some sticks in the park but a dog stole one right out of my hand! When I got home, I made a few more owls to test my pattern.

Sarah, my illustrator, is putting the finishing touches on the step-by-step illustrations for the pattern today which should be available in my SHOP by next week! I will let you know when it's ready both here on my blog and also on my Facebook page.

Today I'm starting Christmas early by making a green owl for a friend!

Which pattern would you like next?

Enjoy your afternoon tea & quilted crafts :o)

A cat might be fun! I think the next ornament may be a squirrel or a bunny :)

These are adorable and different! Love them and can't wait to get your pattern! I think Owl on a Stick sounds best, or Owl on a Twig... or Twiggy Owl. Love being able to use different fabrics. I would love a pattern for a fairly easy (if that's possible) for a chipmunk or squirrel, or a cute little goat. Will you please do another blog post when your pattern is ready and in your shop??? Thanks!
