Leaves

I made this set of three Leaf Potholders in October. I have only made sets of two large leaves before and was toying with different size options. I am planning to release the pattern due to a growing number of requests!

Quilters will have the option of creating sets of two in any size or a set of three which I think looks super cute all linked together. The small leaf would be perfect as a coaster.

I always have so much fun making these leaves. They are fast to make, and there's something very rewarding about sewing all those small scraps together. You can see more of my Leaf Potholders in my flickr gallery.

Here's a few of my favourite pictures from last Fall. Yup... more leaves and Jack-o-Lanterns in Spring while I still try to catch up on blogging.

Enjoy your afternoon tea & quilted crafts :o)

  5. I agree the leaves are cute, but why would any sewer need a pattern to make something so easy??

  6. You and I may think it's easy but others may not. I wasn't going to make it available as a pattern because I thought it was too easy but many people have asked for it :o)

  7. How very pretty Laurraine - I could see larger leaves as place- settings to compliment a dinner service, or a table centre beneath a potted plant - or even (joined 'nose to tail') as a lovely table runner..... I suppose a basic pattern could be up- or down-sized to make amazing things. Love your colour schemes too. Val E

  12. I love the pumpkin pots! I bet they don't smell as bad and last longer than the real ones ha ha! Where did you get them? Or were these also home made?
